Letter

Application Form 

An application form which no erasures or mistakes, in capital letters or written in black ink, and signed by the applicant. The form must have a photo adhered to it.

Applicant’s Passport

To apply for a visa, the applicant's passport must be valid for at least six (6) months and contain two consecutive blank sheets. Copies of the passport's principal pages, including details of visas and stamps from past trips, must be sent.

Photograph

Photographs should be submitted by the applicant in color. It should be photographed with a white background and without sunglasses no longer than three (3) months ago (unless proof of medical exemption is attached). Candidates' photos must be shot without the use of earrings, dreadlocks, or fancy haircuts.

Police Verification Certificate

A verification certificate should be provided by the applicant, attached with other documents. It should be a verification certificate and legalized by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and by this Consulate General. The applicant should make sure that the certificate should be in Portuguese. 

Medical certificate

Vaccination Certificate 

A yellow fever certificate and a COVID vaccination certificate should be provided by the applicant. A certificate from WHO (world health organization) is recommended. 

Proof of Accommodation and Travel Booking 

Proof of accommodation and travel booking should be provided by the applicants. It consists of the hotel bookings as well as ongoing and returning flight tickets as proof.
