In this article, we are going to get some information about the Angola Ordinary Visa. According to the name, it can be said easily that this category of visa is used for general public purposes.

NOTE: As per the rules, an Ordinary Visa must be used by the applicant within 60 days of being issued.
Once the applicant has decided to use the visa, it is important to know that he/she is allowed to stay for 30 days and it can be extended up to 60 days.
Ordinary Visa Requirements
Passport
The applicant should have a passport with 9 months of validity. The passport should also have 2-4 blank pages. This is a requirement for the applicant who is planning to visit Angola. Passports with less than 9 months of validity will be canceled during the process.
Application Form
The application form is available online and it can be filled out completely and properly on the Angola E visa site. After filling out the form, the applicant can take a print of it. The Date and Signature column on page 3 is mandatory to fill. Also, handwritten applications are not accepted. The signature of the candidate should be the same as it is on every page (where the signature is required). Any fault will directly cancel the application.

Photograph
One passport-size photograph is required and it should be pasted on the application form for verification. Make sure that the photograph should be recent and clear. It should be a colored photograph. If you wear lenses, make sure your eyes are visible properly.
Invitation Letter
An invitation letter is required in the case of an ordinary visa. The invitation letter must be in Portuguese language and it must be submitted with the application form. There are two conditions in the case of an invitation letter:
Invitation Letter Sent By Angolan Citizen
If the letter is being sent by an Angolan citizen, it should be a declaration of responsibility for the stay and accommodation of the applicant. The invitation letter must contain a Public Notary Signature and along with that, it should be accompanied by a copy of the Angolan ID card of the specific person who is inviting.
Invitation Letter Sent By Non- Angolan Citizen
If the letter is being sent by a Non-Angolan citizen, it should contain declaring responsibility for the stay and accommodation of the applicant i.e. hotel booking and other accommodation activities. A copy of the passport should be there including the work or residence visa attached with it.
Ordinary Visa Requirements For Business Purpose
- First, a letter of invitation is required in Portuguese. If it's a company letter then a headed paper is required from the Angola registered company. The company address should also be registered to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in Cairo.
- Invitation From Chartered Company- Angolan Chartered Company who are inviting individuals for the first time should know this. Some necessary and important documents should be provided at any cost.
- It is necessary to keep a copy of the commercial license (only if it is applicable).
- The company's registration copy is mandatory to mention. so, a copy of the company's registration is required.
- It is important to make a publication regarding a company's registry. The publication will be done at "Diario da Republica".
- It is also important to take a copy of the last Industrial Tax Receipt.
The value of the means of subsistence which is 1250.00 LE must be proved by a bank statement. The value of 1250.00 LE is for each day of stay in Angola.
For Minors
Guardians have to fill an application with a notarized signature in terms of the responsibility of guardians. As the guardians are the companions of minors, they have to submit the original and a photocopy of their air tickets and valid passport for safety and security measures.
