Angola Work visa

A work visa is a long-term visa and thus it provides a much longer validity than other visas like business or tourist visas. The validity of this visa is 1 year/ 12 months. As the visa is granted for 1 year, it can also be extended by the applicant. The extension can be done twice for the same day's validity which makes it 3 years in total. The applicant can make multiple entries into the country with the work visa. 

Angola Student visa 

A student visa is also a long-term visa and thus it provides a much longer validity just like the work visa. The student visa provides a validity of 1 year as basic validity but the students can extend the validity according to their course. The validity can be extended twice for the same period which makes it 3 years in total. The student can make multiple entries into the country with a student visa. 

Angola Transit Visa 

Transit Visa is provided by airlines to those passengers who are traveling from one country to another but their flight has a halt at the Angola airport. The transit visa provides the passengers with a validity of 5 days and it cannot be extended. Although it provides 1 or 2 entries but not more than that.

Common requirements for Angola visa 

If you don't meet the standards, getting a visa might be difficult. The following provides information about the Angola visa.

  • The first criterion is a picture of the applicant. Make sure you have a clear shot of your front face. There should be no lights in your eyes; this might cause problems later on.
  • The applicant must have a valid passport, which must be obtained at least six months before departure. In addition, your passport must contain at least two vacant pages.
  • Because of the COVID scenario, they recently established a new regulation. A "yellow fever certificate" or other medical proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

  • The applicant must have an airline confirmation / onward ticket. 

The Angola e-visa is only valid for 30 days after arrival, allowing a foreigner to stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days. Business travel is legal and permitted with an e-visa upon arrival. Keep in mind that once you arrive, you must provide all of the documents that were submitted as part of your application. Documents such as your passport, printed e-receipt, and the rest.
